Hit by a storm it started to put water in the bilges and to gain inclination. It made an aid request when passing Cape Carvoeiro. With the entrance of the water it occured an explosion in the boilers and the vessel sank south of the Berlengas. She lays in a sandy bottom between 66 and 70 meters of depth being a very demanding, only Trimix or CCR dive .

Max Depth 18 meters Certification PADI OWD |

Camrose/Highland Hope - This dive, also part of the Shipwreck cemetary, can only be done with calm seas for it is an exposed area. It is started habitually next to the propeller of the Camrose and follows its lode until arriving at the boilers. Later it can be continued in the same direction until finding the remaining portions of the stern of the Highland Hope. The area of the boilers is quite interesting, with many residents (Spider crabs, Wrasses, Congers).
